Rope-access website comparing rope with scaffolding

The calculator prices both methods on the client's building and answers "we won't take this job" for insulation work. Beside the figure it shows how many days slower the rope is.

Description

A rope-access website that compares itself with the rival method

The name is the trade's founding rule — never one rope, a working line and a backup, two independent anchor points — and the same rule is the site's only graphic device: two thin vertical rules run down the left of every section, and nothing else is needed. The mechanism prices rope access alongside scaffolding on the client's own building, over the same square metres, and returns one of four verdicts. For window cleaning it says scaffolding makes no sense; for painting 2,500 m² it says the rope is 74,000 złoty cheaper but will take six days longer — the one real drawback of the method, and no reason to hide it; and for external insulation it answers "we won't take this job" and shows the scaffolding figure only, so the client knows what money is involved before going looking for a contractor. Without that single refusal the whole comparison would be advertising. A separate section gives two dates worth asking any firm for: the expiry of the safety-equipment inspection and of the liability policy, each with a day counter driven by the server clock and a red warning sixty days out. The winning column is marked server-side, so the page still delivers its verdict with JavaScript off rather than two equal columns. What stays manual is the inspection date — without a current one, working at height is simply illegal, and a page showing a date from two years ago tells the client exactly what it should not.

Questions before you buy

What exactly do I get for the price?

A working website under your own domain, with a .pl domain and hosting for the first year included, SSL and a contact form. With deployment we replace the demo content with your details (name, address, phone, services, pricing, photos, logo), set up Google Maps and basic SEO, and you get 30 days of support after launch. In the basic version you fill in the content yourself. You always get a VAT invoice.

How long does it take?

Three working days from receiving your materials. You fill in a short form after payment (name, address, texts, photos, logo). Most launches happen faster.

What happens after the first year?

Hosting and the domain are included for 12 months. After that you can extend hosting with us for another year or move the website anywhere you like: it is yours, with no lock-in and no subscription.

Can I edit the website myself later?

Yes. The website is plain HTML/PHP with no CMS to break. Small text changes we do for free within the support period; later you can edit files yourself or order changes from us.
