Detailing is sold with before-and-after photos and almost never mentions that paint correction works by removing a layer of the clearcoat. There are about 45 microns of it from the factory and a proper correction takes three, so a car has only a handful in its whole life. The counter on this page asks how many times the car has been machine polished (or accepts a paint gauge reading) and returns one of four verdicts, including the important one: we will not polish this paint. A service site that occasionally refuses the sale is more credible than any gallery — and the form flags such enquiries with their own marker in the subject line. Plus a table with an honest answer about which scratches come out and which do not, along with the test anyone can run with a fingernail. The first screen is a before/after slider built on a plain range input, so it also works with arrow keys.
