A moisture scale with the twenty per cent threshold and two heat bars side by side. The page corrects the "half the heat" myth and shows the loss sits in the appliance, not the wood.
The entire firewood trade runs on the price of a stacked cubic metre — that is, on volume, which says nothing about heat. This page computes something else: how many kilowatt-hours from that metre actually reach the room. Along the way it corrects a myth repeated across the trade. Wet wood does not lose half its heat by itself: a stacked metre holds the same dry substance whatever the moisture, and evaporating the water costs roughly eight per cent of the calorific value. The rest of the loss sits in the appliance — wet wood smoulders instead of burning, water vapour leaves up the flue carrying heat with it, and efficiency falls from eighty per cent to about half. Only when both are multiplied does it become clear that the same metre of beech delivers either nineteen hundred kilowatt-hours or eleven hundred and eighty, at an identical price. The calculator shows this on a moisture scale with the twenty per cent threshold marked, and on two heat bars side by side, where the missing piece is visible rather than stated as a percentage in brackets. A second mechanism answers how much longer the wood must season — and for a stack wrapped in a tarpaulin it says plainly that it will never dry, explaining how to restack it. A third view ranks species by the price of heat instead of the price per metre, and the order does not match: the most expensive metre in the yard turns out to be the second cheapest heat. The contact form recomputes moisture server-side and, for anything above the threshold, sends the yard the sentence "do not sell this as seasoned". The header carries the list of what is currently ready to burn, with the date it was checked.
A working website under your own domain, with a .pl domain and hosting for the first year included, SSL and a contact form. With deployment we replace the demo content with your details (name, address, phone, services, pricing, photos, logo), set up Google Maps and basic SEO, and you get 30 days of support after launch. In the basic version you fill in the content yourself. You always get a VAT invoice.
Three working days from receiving your materials. You fill in a short form after payment (name, address, texts, photos, logo). Most launches happen faster.
Hosting and the domain are included for 12 months. After that you can extend hosting with us for another year or move the website anywhere you like: it is yours, with no lock-in and no subscription.
Yes. The website is plain HTML/PHP with no CMS to break. Small text changes we do for free within the support period; later you can edit files yourself or order changes from us.
