A bouquet that looks lovely in the shop and wilts in three days is a bad present whatever it cost — and it wilts because someone slipped in one flower that doesn't keep a week and never mentioned it. A peony added to carnations cuts the bouquet from fourteen days to four, and the page names the culprit outright, adding that of course it will still be made — the point is only that the customer knows beforehand rather than after. The occasions calendar runs off the server clock and gives not the date of the holiday but the day after which nothing can be promised; it stays true even if nobody visits for six months. The design is the opposite of a dashboard: serifs, large headings, a narrow text column and wide margins, one warm accent at prices and one cool one wherever longevity is concerned. The cold store is a horizontally scrolling shelf, like a rack in a shop. What stays manual is a single configuration line — the contents of the cold store. It drives the shelf, the builder, the structured data and the order email at once, and the number of days in it is a commitment: the site promises to replace a bouquet that wilts noticeably early.
