A five-letter .pl domain. A quipu is the Inca knotted cord used for accounts — the name has a story built in. Paid up until 18 June 2027.
Price negotiable
Five letters, two syllables, no diacritics. A quipu is the Inca system of knotted cords used for accounts, censuses and tax records — so the name arrives with a ready-made story about counting and keeping data in order.
A name invented from nothing means nothing, and its meaning has to be bought — with advertising, with time, with repetition. A name with a history comes with an explanation that tells itself: a knotted cord on which the Incas recorded numbers before anyone in Europe had seen their empire. That is an "about us" page, a slide in a deck and a graphic motif, all at once.
It also sounds right in both languages and never needs spelling out. There are no Polish diacritics in it, so an address typed from memory lands where it should.
No website, no mailboxes, no visits and no search rankings. This is the name alone.
An exotic root cuts both ways. It is memorable and gives you something to talk about, but in Poland nobody knows what it means — it has to be explained, and that is marketing work the buyer takes on. A descriptive name spares you that work, but it also gives you nothing to stand out with.
One more thing: the word quipu belongs to nobody, but it is used as a product name outside Poland, including in financial software. The .pl domain itself is free and transfers to you without reservation — but if you plan to build a brand on it and register a trademark, checking the trademark registers first is a sensible step. We say so plainly, because it is better checked before than after.
After purchase you receive the authinfo code and move the domain to your own registrar — you open the account wherever you like, we keep nothing on our side. This usually fits within one working day; the transfer itself, on the .pl registry side, can take longer and is outside our control.
Renewal is paid by you, at your own registrar — the ordinary annual cost of a .pl domain, separate from this transaction.
