Locksmith website with a door test and opening time in seconds

Three questions and one number: how many seconds this door takes to open. The site shows that a 120-złoty escutcheon beats a 400-złoty cylinder — and says so before the customer asks.

Description

A locksmith's website that opens with "your lock takes me 45 seconds"

This is a site that tells the customer something against its own interest: the cylinder in their door opens in under a minute, without a mark and without drilling, because that is simply how a grade-B cylinder behaves — and most flats have one. The door test asks three questions and gives one answer, a class letter the size of half the panel and a number of seconds, and its point is that the escutcheon works as a multiplier in the calculation rather than an addition. A four-hundred-złoty cylinder in a door with no escutcheon therefore buys twenty seconds, exactly as many as the ninety-złoty one, while a hundred-and-twenty-złoty escutcheon quadruples the result. Below the test the page sorts every possible upgrade by seconds gained per hundred złoty spent, and routinely puts the cheapest one first — with the remark that selling a cylinder alone into a door without an escutcheon is standard practice in this trade and is selling a fiction. A black bar above the masthead names who is on call today and switches the day rate to the night rate off the server clock, because "around the clock" without that is a promise with nothing behind it. The design is built around the class letter, in brass and graphite, with not one photograph of a forced door — the page is there to explain, not to frighten. The privacy policy is worth a read too: the site states that it keeps no database of addresses and locks, because in this trade such a list would be the worst possible thing to hold.

Questions before you buy

What exactly do I get for the price?

A working website under your own domain, with a .pl domain and hosting for the first year included, SSL and a contact form. With deployment we replace the demo content with your details (name, address, phone, services, pricing, photos, logo), set up Google Maps and basic SEO, and you get 30 days of support after launch. In the basic version you fill in the content yourself. You always get a VAT invoice.

How long does it take?

Three working days from receiving your materials. You fill in a short form after payment (name, address, texts, photos, logo). Most launches happen faster.

What happens after the first year?

Hosting and the domain are included for 12 months. After that you can extend hosting with us for another year or move the website anywhere you like: it is yours, with no lock-in and no subscription.

Can I edit the website myself later?

Yes. The website is plain HTML/PHP with no CMS to break. Small text changes we do for free within the support period; later you can edit files yourself or order changes from us.
