Ominuvo — Interactive World Maps
Ominuvo is a platform for creating and publishing interactive world maps. Users pick a map type, paste a table from Excel or import CSV or JSON, and see the finished map straight away — with nothing to install and not even an account: the draft is saved in the browser and the map can be downloaded as a PNG. A free account lets users save the map on the server, publish it in the catalogue and embed it on their own website. Available types include country maps (values, categories, “where I have been”, bubbles, tiles, timeline, before/after comparison, bivariate), region maps for 244 countries, point, density and route maps, and an iceberg chart. The catalogue brings together user maps and the Ominuvo map series on dedicated subdomains — including Volcanomap with a timeline of eruptions and earthquakes, CastlesMap with over three thousand castles, World in Numbers with country indicators, Ghost Map, UFO Map and a VPN provider map — in many language versions.
